YOU ARE MORE THAN WHAT YOU THINK

Stand before the mirror, then close your eyes. Forget about all labels. You don’t have to be in a certain way to be considered beautiful. Open your eyes, and look at yourself from different perspective. See how beautiful you are. Every cell of your body makes you unique. Can you see how powerful that is?

We tend to shrink ourselves into small images in our head. You are not less smart, or less beautiful. In fact you are always more. How you can compare a unique piece, there is no point of it. “Nobody is you, and that is your super power.” Compare yourself only your old self, now you can move forward.

  1. This is such a great post! Comparing ourselves to others really is a disease. We don’t know where other people are on their journeys and we could be comparing our starting point to their midway or finish line! I think it’s more important to celebrate the successes of others while focusing on our own goals xx

  2. Thank you for sharing this. I couldn’t agree more – we shouldn’t compare our beginnings to someone else’s middle! Comparison can be such a dangerous territory. We all have our own individual journeys to embark on and comparison can hinder us in so many ways.
